Cartography is the study and practice of making maps. Combining science and aesthetics, cartography builds on the premise that reality can be modeled in ways that communicate spatial information effectively.
I offer a full line of GIS Services including : Geoprocessing / GIS Analysis, Creation and Editing of Geodatabases and Shapefiles, Raster Analysis / Slope Analysis, DEM Creation, Editing and Visualization, 3D Modeling, Database creation and editing, Conversion from GIS (Shapefile or MapInfo) to Illustrator or Freehand.
I also produce custom symbology and type setting for any mapping product, whether it be full design specs for a series of Atlases, or a one-off custom map for a novel or magazine article.
If you are looking for a more organic / hand drawn feel, I offer custom illustration. This is especially effective for historical maps, or fictional maps for story books or board games.
You will find below a small sample of my recent Cartography projects. Please contact me if you would like to see any of these projects in their entirety, I would be glad to discuss!
